Idika exists to help the artisans of Odisha, especially women, live better lives through their craft. By sharing their handmade creations with the world and ensuring fair wages, we keep traditions alive while building a more sustainable future.

OUR JOURNEY

For years I traveled across India, meeting tribes, learning their stories, and admiring them. Deep inside, I always knew I wanted to give back to the people of my homeland—the artisans who, despite their talent, could never reach the places I could.

When I began working with people from abroad, I realized it was the right time to share these creations with the world. That was the moment Idika was born.

Idika is not just about products; it is about people—the people of Odisha who weave and craft with quiet resilience, keeping traditions alive that might otherwise fade away. By bringing their work to you, we hope to offer them not just fair wages, but dignity, pride, and the chance at a brighter tomorrow.
